Girl Scouts-Audubon Council plays a vital role in the development of each camper's growth by fostering courage, confidence and character at our summer camp. Camping gives girls an experience away from home and assists in teaching self-reliance and self-confidence. Camp is a great place for a girl to discover the world and the great outdoor adventures that await her! This unique environment helps her connect through friendships, cooperative activities and enhancing social skills while having fun. In this outdoor setting, girls gain an appreciation of the environment, learn to live and work together, and learn in a friendly, fun and safe setting.

Girls will enjoy hiking, arts & crafts, and learn outdoor skills. Best of all they will meet new friends and have the opportunity to try new things. Girls may broaden their special interest in horseback riding, canoeing, and archery. Like all Girl Scouting programs, Camp Marydale provides a safe, all girl environment for girls to try new things and to grow strong.

Check out the new 2008 Summer Camp Book and make plans for your daughter to experience a summer she'll never forget! You’ll also want to see the exciting adventures available at Camp Whispering Pines in Independence, Louisiana! See what’s available in their 2008 Summer Camp Brochure
