Held annually in March, this fundraising event is volunteer driven. Audubon Council provides a program and free lunch to all attendees. Annually, this event raises between $30,000 - $40,000 for the council.
Our Girls Our Future Luncheon 2008
Audubon Council will be holding the 8th annual Our Girls Our Future Luncheon fundraising event on Thursday, March 20, 2008 and we need your help! This annual fundraising event is designed to share what is great about Girl Scouting in Audubon Council, and to inspire the community to financially support our mission. Our primary goal this year is to raise funds to support programs, resources and activities that keep girls involved in Girl Scouting.
Traditionally, board members and community volunteers serve as table captains for the event each year, and are an integral part of the event's success. Last year's table captains helped raised nearly $40,000 to help sustain programs for our girls.
Please join us this year and use your enthusiasm and savvy to raise even more money for our local girls. Table captains invite other generous colleagues, friends and family members to join them at their table with the understanding they will be asked to make a donation to the programs and services of Girl Scouts – Audubon Council.
The Council is looking for volunteers to serve as table captains who
will be assisting with inviting community members to this free luncheon. As a table captain, you are the most
